Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Her father, an Argentinean of Scottish as well as English heritage is also her mother. Her mother has Spanish as well as English roots. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four brothers and sisters, with one coming from each of her parents' previous marriages. The family resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy explained she was painful, and she refused to study English as she wanted to be able to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16, she quit school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to become an actor. The opportunity was offered to her chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered an opportunity as a model.
